A visit from Uncle Steve

Uncle Steve came to see us. We were so happy to show off his new little niece.

Fireman Domi and Smokey the Bear had a lot of fun on Halloween night. Domi loved trick-or-treating and would not cease until he went to every house in the neighborhood. The entire concept of getting candy and charming the neighbors was the best thing he could imagine. I cannot wait to explain Santa!

Getting used to 2!

We are getting used to having two little ones. Brian is back to work, and this week the grandparents have been allowed to stay home. We move a little more slowly and nurse a lot, but we are starting to function. Thank goodness for helpful friends and play dates.

Amata is here!

We are pleased to introduce Amata Rae Wilson. She was born on Tuesday, October 2 at 5:05pm. Jeanie was induced when a non-stress test showed low amniotic fluid. After about 5 hours of labor and 5 minutes of pushing we held our little girl. As one can see in the pictures she is adorable. She weighed 7lbs 9oz at birth, but is growing fast with her amazing nursing capacities. Jeanie is nursing constantly with both Dom and Amata enjoying their milk. Sometimes they nurse at the same time, which is just crazy.

We are waiting for baby Amata to be born. She is 6 days past her due date and counting. Dominick is ready to be a big brother and I am ready to use all my cute pink gear. There will be many pictures to come and I am hoping to post again soon. I am not sure what having 2 little ones will do to my already frazzled days, but I enjoy sharing our experiences with those we love.
